Bath Depot Accelerates eCommerce Journey with Valtech, Akeneo and Adobe Commerce

Bath Depot, a Canadian retailer and manufacturer operating 40+ stores and an online storefront, faced fragmented product data, multiple localized storefronts, and the need to support personalized hybrid shopping journeys. To centralize and automate product information management, Bath Depot partnered with Valtech and the vendor Akeneo to implement Akeneo PIM and integrate it with their Adobe Commerce platform.

Akeneo (with Valtech) centralized and enriched Bath Depot’s catalog, automating localization for country, language, and pricing, enabling ship-to-store, in-store pickup and real-time stock across channels. The implementation enriched ~500 products in under three weeks, expanded the catalog from 130 to 680 products (5x) in less than a month, and simplified bundle complexity into 243 bundle products (≈3,500 combinations), improving time-to-market and operational efficiency while reducing manual errors.
