Axonlab, a medical diagnostics and life‑sciences provider operating in nine countries, faced fragmented and inconsistent product data across eight separate Sage ERP systems, high maintenance costs for multi‑language shops, and no central view of product information. To solve this, Axonlab selected Akeneo and its Akeneo PIM to provide a centralized, user‑friendly product information management solution.

Akeneo PIM was integrated with Axonlab’s landscape (8 Sage ERP instances and 9 Shopware e‑commerce channels) to create authoritative records for ~150,000 products, support 85 users (60 daily), and define 49 product families with 300 attributes. The Akeneo deployment improved data quality and consistency, reduced new product acquisition and maintenance costs, streamlined workflows and onboarding, and enabled more effective marketing and sales across countries.
