abitare is a Luxembourg multi-brand retailer (Abitare Kids, Abitare Living) specializing in furnishings and children's products. Facing rapid growth, a 30% annual product renewal rate and an eCommerce re-platforming, abitare needed to centralize and standardize product information, separate product data management from merchandising, and improve collaboration and data quality — and chose Akeneo PIM to address those challenges.

Akeneo implemented a centralized PIM integrated with the Odoo ERP and the new eCommerce platform, engaging 16 users to normalize 15,000 product sheets and manage a catalog of about 60,000 products over a six-month project. The Akeneo deployment automated data flows, improved cross-team contribution and data quality (with an initial focus on the top 20% revenue-generating products), sped up publishing across Abitare Kids, Abitare Living and in-store touchscreens, and freed time for higher-value work while simplifying international and multi-channel rollouts.
