Novia, a family business selling architectural fittings since 1984, faced inconsistent and limited product information held only in its Sage DBFact ERP, which made launching a fully structured webshop and selling on marketplaces difficult. To support eCommerce and sales expansion Novia implemented Akeneo PIM (integrated with Magento via the PIMgento connector) to centralize and enrich product data for multichannel use.

Akeneo consolidated inputs from the ERP and suppliers’ spreadsheets into a single product repository, allowing Novia to enrich 6,000+ items and add 7,000 more, managing 20,000+ products with two users and publishing 7,000 online. The Akeneo implementation cut manual data transfers, increased internal productivity, freed marketing to focus on customer experience, and enabled multichannel sales across Magento, Amazon.com, Storesquare, physical stores in Antwerp and Brussels, with Bol.com forthcoming.
