AKASA used proprietary AI and machine learning to observe workflows and autonomously create models to perform complex revenue cycle tasks. This solution automated a significant volume of accounts, statusing over 56,000 claims in eight months and saving over 5,500 hours of work. The automation performed by AKASA was equivalent to 13.8 FTEs, allowing Methodist to reallocate staff from insurance follow-up to other critical functions.
