Bridgestone implemented Akamai Ion’s global CDN, IP-based content delivery and Adaptive Image Compression to speed delivery and serve regional content dynamically. The rollout cut average load times for non‑Japan visitors by about 30%, reduced iPhone image sizes by ~65% (improving image display times by ~10%), and enabled locale-specific navigation without additional internal development.
