FabFurnish is India’s largest online home store, offering 100,000 products from over 500 brands. To deliver the rich, image‑heavy shopping experience customers expect across diverse devices and networks, the company needed superior web performance, robust protection against web attacks and data theft, and the ability to scale on demand without costly infrastructure expansion.

FabFurnish deployed Akamai’s Dynamic Site Accelerator, Web Application Firewall and Fast DNS to optimize delivery and secure the site. As a result, about 85% of content was served via Akamai’s optimized path and latency dropped by 50%, delivering faster, more reliable user experiences, seamless scalability during traffic spikes, protection from DDoS and application‑layer attacks, and better control of infrastructure costs.
