By adopting Akamai’s Media Delivery Solutions, Humax offloaded global firmware delivery to Akamai’s CDN, gaining scalability and traffic visibility without deploying additional infrastructure. The result: stable operation under very high load, support for firmware files larger than 1 GB, and no recorded downtime since the solution was implemented in 2011, enabling reliable service across 80 countries.
