ABOM delivers first military-grade AR goggles in 2019-2020 with AJProTech

AJProTech partnered with ABOM to address the challenge of creating an augmented reality headset suitable for industrial and military use. Existing AR headsets could not meet the demanding requirements, so ABOM sought to develop the first system with a ballistics-rated lens as an alternative to solutions like Hololens, challenging the standards of the Integrated Visual Augmentation system.

The solution from AJProTech involved designing the electronics hardware, firmware, and providing engineering support for the ABOM AR goggles. This resulted in a durable product with thermal imaging sensors, 1080p displays, and a 3D depth camera. AJProTech's work helped ABOM introduce the first fully integrated AR goggle designed to meet military standards, achieving market validation with a sufficient number of pilot units produced for demonstrations.
