Kakao, a global internet company, required a new, high-performance computing infrastructure to support the expansion of its multi-platform business and the significant data demands of its AI products like Kakao i and Kakao Mini C. They needed a solution to improve server performance, interconnection, and scalability. To meet this challenge, they partnered with vendor Aivres for a portfolio of GPU-accelerated AI servers and general-purpose compute servers.

Aivres provided a custom solution using its KR4268 inference server, supplemented by KR1280 and KR2280 general-purpose servers. This product portfolio was designed for various application scenarios, including Hadoop data operations and AI computing. The implementation, aided by Aivres' self-developed components, was deployed in just 25 days. The results included a more than 30% increase in the performance and linear scalability of Kakao's AI training platform and significantly improved human-computer interaction for its smart speaker, leading to a vastly optimized user experience.
