Priceline, the travel company behind a global booking app, needed to modernize its streaming data architecture and move away from time-consuming, self-managed Apache Kafka servers. As it expanded across regions, it wanted faster access to real-time data, better disaster recovery, and a cloud-native setup that would reduce the burden of maintaining infrastructure.
