Catalyst, a New York City–based customer success company, needed a flexible, future-proof way to store and aggregate customer data. Aiven migrated Catalyst to Aiven for PostgreSQL with hands-on support, increased initial capacity, and easy Datadog integration, yielding a faster-than-expected migration, significant performance improvements, reliable scaling (storing data from hundreds of customers), and the ability to experiment with tools like PGanalyze. Aiven’s responsive support and user-friendly console helped Catalyst keep services running smoothly while preparing for future moves such as Kafka-based ingestion.
