Goldsmiths University of London needed a robust managed print and copy solution to cut costs, reduce waste, and eliminate unnecessary or unauthorized printing across its large campus of more than 250 buildings. Working with AIT, the university used the Altman Integrated Technologies Pcounter cost recovery solution to support print, copy, and cashless point-of-sale services, while also aiming to better place devices for maximum usage.

AIT implemented XPR Enterprise WebPay with Pcounter, adding touchpad MFD terminals, POS applications, card readers, and online account top-ups through the university website. The solution reduced cash handling by 30%, removed card-payment processing and related fees, streamlined administration, and improved convenience for students while giving Goldsmiths better control over device placement and print services.
