Squad (by Envested), a workforce-engagement startup founded in 2015, needed to reduce redundant tools and simplify how teams tracked onboarding, client tasks, and customer health. To centralize those processes they turned to Airtable, initially to track onboarding deadlines and then to build out broader workflows that could be easily discovered and reused.
Airtable provided templated bases for onboarding sequencing, an external client-facing base with grid/kanban/calendar views for tasks and meeting agendas, and an internal customer-health system using forms and linked tables. As a result, Squad says teams are more self-sufficient and transparent, complex processes have been simplified, and Airtable is now used by almost every team—customer success, product, sales CRM, funding, content, PR, and freelancer management.
