cred is a boutique events agency founded by Caitlin Bartley that connects speakers with the right conferences to build their brands. Faced with the need to track thousands of events, deadlines, speaker profiles, and submission criteria—and finding Excel too static—cred adopted Airtable as a flexible, scalable central database to replace spreadsheets and support growth.

Using an Airtable base with tables, forms, linked records, custom views, and a calendar (integrated via Zapier to Google Calendar), cred automated onboarding, matchmaking between speakers and events, client reporting, and even financial forecasting. The result: a searchable database of over 7,500 events, fast monthly reporting, visible client schedules, streamlined team workflows, and the ability to forecast MRR—helping cred scale operations and expand into event planning while relying on Airtable as their business backbone.
