Case Study: BET achieves streamlined red-carpet content production for millions with Airtable

A Airtable Case Study

Preview of the BET Case Study

How BET brings the red carpet treatment to millions of viewers

BET, which produces original programming and live awards broadcasts to 91 million households, faced fragmented workflows across teams using Google Sheets, Docs, Basecamp and Wufoo. Digital Production Manager Candice Grevious needed a way to consolidate content planning and stop critical conversations from getting lost, so BET turned to Airtable to centralize its content management and collaboration.

Airtable replaced back-and-forth spreadsheets with linked tables and lookup fields that connect the sponsorship grid to the content plan, plus Slack integrations and update notifications so stakeholders are alerted in real time. As a result, the content plan moved from a document only helpful to one person to a shared resource used by everyone, reduced missed communications, and—per Grevious—made her work “100 percent easier,” improving collaboration, control, and peace of mind across BET.
