California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) Extended University needed a better way to manage student tracking and program operations. Using Airtable bases and interfaces, CSUCI integrated real-time PeopleSoft data to build a single source of truth for student enrollment, academic progress, and engagement. The result was a 5x increase in psychology program applicant processing, more than 1,000 students profiled, and a 2x boost in staff capacity through automation. Airtable also supported AI-powered workflows, automated reporting, and a “Welcome Back” form that helped re-engage students and improve re-enrollment efforts.
