Code and Theory saves more than 10,000 hours a year with Airtable

Code and Theory, a digital-first creative agency, needed a better way to manage highly manual, inconsistent workflows across production, legal, and client-facing teams. As the company grew, producers were using idiosyncratic systems that made it difficult to track contracts, estimates, approvals, and project details efficiently. They turned to Airtable to create a more centralized, standardized way of working.

With Airtable, Code and Theory built apps for production handbooks, contract tracking, budget estimates, and automated reporting, using forms, Sync, views, permissions, and automations to connect 18 departments. The result was faster onboarding, clearer intake, less back-and-forth, and reduced risk across contract reviews. Code and Theory reported saving more than 5,000 hours in the production department alone and at least 10,000 hours annually across the agency, with about 500 people now using Airtable.
