West Qurna I partnered with Airswift to support the rehabilitation and redevelopment of its oil and gas field in southern Iraq. The customer needed a trusted provider for recruitment, mobilisation, and compliant in-country support for both expatriate and Iraqi nationals, along with a presence in the United Arab Emirates to support personnel on rotation and during evacuation periods. Services used included talent acquisition, contract hire, employer of record, relocation services, and global immigration.

Airswift delivered a dedicated client services team based in Iraq and Dubai to manage fully compliant support across the project lifecycle, including relocation, visas, permits, medical insurance, medivac, logistics, and 24/7 emergency support. As a result, Airswift was awarded sole supplier status for Iraqi nationals on West Qurna I and has recruited and supported more than 400 expatriate and Iraqi personnel since 2011, spanning exploration through operations and maintenance.
