Nestlé, the world’s largest food company (brands include Maggi and Kit Kat), launched the "Croquons la Vie" loyalty program to deliver nutritional advice, discounts and brand news to members. To boost retention and brand recall, Nestlé integrated mobile apps and push notifications into its 360° CRM with the goal of increasing engagement, reactivating lapsed users and reducing churn.
Accengage implemented three automated push programs: a Welcome series (day 1, 7 and 14 after install), a Loyalty program with monthly and seasonal recipe pushes, and a Lapsed Users reactivation flow for users inactive 20–25 days. Results included >20% of new users clicking at least once in the Welcome program, a >10% reactivation rate for lapsed users, and overall higher app engagement and lower churn.
