Meteor’s promotional campaigns deliver value for customer and company

eir’s mobile brand Meteor, part of Ireland’s leading telecom eir, set out to give customers instant access to account information, grow its customer base and reduce operational costs while keeping the mobile experience simple and easy to use.

Meteor launched the My Meteor app and used Urban Airship Engage push campaigns to drive engagement and self-service. Delivering over 80,000 pushes in two hours for a bill-paid-for-a-year promotion, the campaign helped lower support costs and drove high conversions — 58.3% for post‑pay opens and 51.4% for pre‑pay opens — with plans to expand targeted campaigns across more customer segments.
