La Redoute, a leading French e-commerce apparel retailer operating in 26 countries, partnered with Accengage (an Airship company) to increase in-app sales conversion. The challenge was to recover users who added items to their baskets but left the app before completing purchase.

Accengage implemented mobile retargeting that sends deep-linked push notifications to opted-in users and serves dynamically personalized display ads (banners and interstitials) via RTB through its DSP to opted-out users, showing product name, image and price. The campaign tripled push reaction rates, raised display retargeting CTRs by 2–3× and delivered 4–8× better ROI compared with classic mobile ads.
