A Airmeet Case Study
WAPPP (the World Association of PPP Units & PPP Professionals) needed to pivot its Annual Congress to a virtual format on short notice and wanted a platform that offered stronger networking, exhibitor showcasing and event-management support than Zoom. Their goal was to reach attendees across 60+ countries, run a three-day program with multiple sessions and speakers, and make the event accessible to less tech‑savvy or introverted participants. Airmeet was selected as the virtual event platform to meet those needs.
Airmeet provided hands‑on event management (including a virtual stage manager and preview/dry‑run mode), private backstage rooms, a social lounge with labeled/expandable tables, engagement tools (chat, polls, Q&A, raise‑hand, invite‑to‑stage) and recording options. The three‑day WAPPP Annual Congress ran 46 sessions, attracted 790 registrations (vs. ~300 typical physical attendees) with 628 joiners, cross‑country participation including 24 PPP units on day three, positive technical and attendee feedback, and new membership requests — outcomes WAPPP attributes to Airmeet’s platform and support.
