A Airmeet Case Study
The Western Canadian District, a regional body of the Christian & Missionary Alliance that supports 130+ churches in Alberta and the Northwest Territories, needed to move its biennial conference to a virtual format with only a week’s notice after pandemic restrictions tightened. Seeking more than Zoom, The Western Canadian District chose Airmeet and its Event Management Services & Solutions to recreate a conference-style experience online for their “Shifting: Resilient People, Changing Times, Advancing Mission” event.
Airmeet provided a turnkey solution — a dedicated 24/7 support manager, design services, platform walkthroughs and training, dry runs and a full dress rehearsal, plus post-event analytics — and enabled features like social lounges/tables, booths, moderated Q&A, chat and emojis. The event drew 363 attendees on day one and 291 on day two with roughly 85% day-long retention; attendees used 4,978 emojis, visited 45 virtual booths (1,428 booth visits), and 183 people used social tables, while organizers reported a virtually glitch-free experience thanks to Airmeet.
