The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), a 7,000‑member community of marketing and business development professionals in the A/E/C sector, needed to replicate the experience of a physical conference online for their week‑long "Build Business" event. SMPS chose Airmeet to deliver a virtual platform that would prioritize community interaction, networking, ice breakers and enhanced attendee communication for 700+ participants.
Airmeet enabled the conference with features like the Network Lounge (virtual tables with flexible movement), Backstage for speaker prep, real‑time emojis/reactions, and a clean, intuitive UI, which made networking feel more natural than on other platforms. As a result, SMPS successfully hosted 700+ attendees exclusively on Airmeet, achieved strong engagement and networking outcomes, and now plans to use Airmeet to expand its events more globally.
