Intertape Polymer Group, a global packaging products and systems company, needed to move its annual Technology & Innovation Summit online due to COVID-19. Facing concerns about attendee engagement, integrating external speakers and sponsors, and bandwidth and quality limits with Microsoft Teams, the team evaluated platforms and selected Airmeet to host their 3-day virtual summit.

Using Airmeet’s features—HD audio/video, backstage and test-run facilities, social lounges, chat/Q&A, emojis, and sponsor spotlights—the Intertape team ran a seamless virtual event. The results were measurable: total registrations tripled from 81 at the prior live event to 254, with a peak of 233 concurrent attendees, improved attendee interaction, cost savings on travel, and positive sponsor feedback, demonstrating Airmeet’s effectiveness for future hybrid plans.
