Case Study: BARK achieves global reach for its startup community with Airmeet

A Airmeet Case Study

Preview of the BARK Case Study

BARK globalizes its startup community via Airmeet

BARK, a Tokyo-based non-profit startup community, sought to globalize its meetups and recreate the spontaneous networking and engagement of in-person events online. To run its IRORI Online sessions and host multicultural, English-first gatherings, BARK chose Airmeet’s virtual events platform to address challenges around remote engagement, scalable networking, and cross-border connection.

Airmeet provided interactive tools — notably “Raise Hand” for live Q&A, the “Social Lounge” and virtual tables for serendipitous networking, “Backstage” for speaker prep, moderated chat, emojis, session recordings and social streaming — enabling BARK to attract 100+ registrants and 80+ live attendees, support up to 16 speakers, and increase engagement and retention. With Airmeet, BARK reports stronger attendee interaction and a scalable foundation for ongoing global growth.
