A Airmeet Case Study
The Alberta Land Surveyors' Association, a self-regulating professional body, faced the challenge of moving its 112th Annual General Meeting, conference and gala to a virtual format for its ~700-member community after a basic online experience the previous year and only two months to prepare. They selected the Airmeet virtual event platform to recreate an in-person experience while addressing usability, networking, and technical reliability concerns.
Airmeet delivered a turnkey solution—24x7 training and support, dry-runs, quick setup, HD streaming and recording, plus features like a social lounge, exhibitor booths, backstage, chat/emojis, and raise-hand/invite-to-stage—that enabled a seamless three-day event with split half-day sessions and evening functions to reduce attendee fatigue. The result was flawless playback of performances, smoother speaker transitions, enhanced networking and engagement compared with the prior year, and a successful virtual AGM that The Alberta Land Surveyors' Association plans to continue using with Airmeet for future hybrid events.
