Flowe, the Milan-based digital banking platform from Italy’s Banca Mediolanum, needed a better way to manage a fast-growing backlog of feature requests and internal demands. Its Data Platform team had been using Azure DevOps, but items piled up in a “New” column with 150+ tasks and were often prioritized by urgency or internal bias rather than true value and effort.

To address this, Flowe adopted airfocus to integrate with Azure DevOps, import its roadmap, and use Priority Poker to collaboratively score work by development effort, business value, and productivity. With airfocus, Flowe streamlined backlog refinement, quickly identified “quick-wins” and “don’t dos,” and built a clearer timeline roadmap that aligned the wider company on what to build and when.
