Case Study: Recharge (subscription SaaS) cuts monthly close from 25–30 days to 7 with Airbase

A Airbase Case Study

Preview of the Recharge Case Study

ReCharge and Airbase A single solution for multiple problems

Recharge, a fast-growing ecommerce SaaS company of 200+ employees, faced chaotic spend processes—poor credit‑card reporting, outsourced bill pay, and a messy tech stack that created heavy manual work. Controller Eoin Hession planned to deploy multiple systems but instead implemented Airbase’s integrated spend management platform to address card, expense, and AP needs.

Airbase consolidated controls, approvals, and reporting, enabled a smooth migration to NetSuite, and delivered real‑time spend visibility. As a result, Airbase cut Recharge’s monthly close from 25–30 days to about seven days, reduced unplanned “zombie” spend, increased cash back via virtual cards, and freed the finance team to focus on higher‑value projects.
