CNA Switches to AIR for an Automated, Integrated Workflow Solution

CNA, one of the largest U.S. commercial property and casualty insurers, needed to modernize its catastrophe modeling systems as part of an enterprise-wide transformation. To replace legacy tools with minimal disruption while preserving its proprietary view of risk, CNA turned to AIR Worldwide and its modeling and automation capabilities, including SmartGate and Touchstone Web Services.

AIR Worldwide developed SmartGate to automate workflows, improve model runtimes, and support CNA’s underwriting processes through APIs and AIR Cloud integration. The result was a faster, more scalable workflow that cut analysis times to as little as 15–30 seconds for up to 10 locations, under 4 minutes for up to 100 locations, and under 10 minutes for up to 1,000 locations, helping CNA make underwriting decisions faster with minimal operational disruption.
