Nottingham City Transport (NCT) sought to upgrade its legacy Microsoft Exchange system to improve communication efficiency for its 150 users across multiple sites. The in-house IT team required expert project support for the complex migration and enlisted the help of vendor Air IT to guide the process without disrupting service availability.

Air IT provided a dedicated engineer who performed the migration using a coexistence scenario, completing the move to Exchange 2013 in under a week with zero downtime. This resulted in increased communication reliability and network stability for NCT. The project's success led to a continued partnership, with Air IT subsequently being commissioned to upgrade the transport company's security services with a Sophos UTM deployment.
