University of Calgary - Customer Case Study

The University of Calgary selected AIMS Parking Management Software (AIMS Web+) to replace an aging in‑house parking system. Faced with missing but critical functionality for managing permits, citations, vehicles and online services, the campus needed a vendor that could develop custom features, provide intensive training, and offer responsive support to ensure a smooth rollout.

AIMS Parking Management Software implemented AIMS Web+, delivered custom integrations (real‑time demographics exchange with ID Core and data exchange to the AB DMV), and provided on‑site/phone support at go‑live in May 2008. The solution centralized permits, citations, billing, payments, voids and appeals while enabling online ticket payment, permit purchase and vehicle registration; it now serves a campus population of 35,942, processes about 29,700 citations/year and ~5,800 permits/year. AIMS continues to provide regular feature improvements and strong support, enabling ongoing system growth.
