A AIMMS Case Study
Aurora Alimentos, one of Brazil’s largest food cooperatives with R$4.6 billion in revenue and over 19,000 employees, produces a wide portfolio of pork, poultry and dairy products for domestic and international markets. Faced with a complex supply chain where product quality, shelf life and natural variability critically affect outcomes, the company needed a shared planning environment to optimize short- and long-term decisions, preserve future operation conditions, and maintain targeted service levels across the cooperative.
AIMMS delivered a ten-module solution that integrates field data, forecasting and optimization across hatchery, broiler, plant operations and demand fulfillment, aligning operational, tactical and strategic decisions. A lightweight integration with core databases and publishing tools gave planners greater visibility and agility — demand fulfillment rose from 70% to 95%, with faster adaptation to unexpected conditions and improved end-to-end supply chain transparency.
