Aliaxis, a global leader in fluid and energy management solutions, wanted to build a digital twin of its supply chain to optimize its network footprint, make-or-buy decisions, and planning. After an earlier network redesign effort stalled because data was scattered, naming standards varied across markets, and internal capability was limited, the company turned to AIMMS and its SC Navigator product, alongside partner support, to restart the initiative with a more sustainable approach.
AIMMS helped Aliaxis license SC Navigator and build internal ownership for the model, supported by Haskoning for the initial proof of concept and Pan-European digital twin. The solution now supports sourcing board decisions, warehouse consolidation, route-to-market analysis, and cost comparisons, delivering estimated logistics cost savings of about 8–9%, reduced inventory, and faster internal decision-making that can now take days instead of months.
