A Top 20 Global Asset Servicing Company achieves operational efficiency and business agility with GAIN

Global Asset Servicing Company, the global asset servicing division of a leading private bank and wealth manager that manages over $1 trillion and opens more than 10,000 instruments per year, faced a manually intensive, time-critical onboarding and validation process driven by legacy core applications. These manual nightly checks created operational risk and left the firm unable to keep pace with new market, regulatory and fiscal requirements. The firm selected AIM Software and its GAIN platform to streamline instrument, pricing and corporate actions data management and ensure data quality up front.

AIM Software implemented GAIN to automate acquisition and quality control of reference, pricing and corporate actions data, using exception-based processing, strict validation rules and connectivity to sources such as Bloomberg, SIX Financial Information (VDF), Multifonds and SWIFT. The initial futures and options scope was configured within four months and later extended across asset classes and sources. As a result, AIM Software enabled automated instrument opening (covering the client’s >10,000 annual instrument openings), improved price-valuation data quality, reduced manual effort, and provided comprehensive auditing to accelerate responses to clients and regulators—raising operational efficiency and business agility.
