ESOT hosts the largest paper-free congress with AIM Group, saving 4,675 kilos of paper

The European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT) wanted its 2013 biennial congress to push the limits of event organization by becoming fully digitalized and paper-free, creating a memorable and impactful experience for attendees. To achieve this ambitious goal, ESOT partnered with the AIM Group to develop and implement a sophisticated digital ecosystem.

AIM Group created an online registration system that integrated with ESOT's custom Ecosystem app and provided all attendees with iPads. This solution facilitated digital networking, note-taking, and access to all meeting content, replacing all printed materials. The project was a major success, with 3,500 attendees actively using the system to exchange 27,735 messages. The AIM Group's solution saved 4,675 kilos of paper, creating the largest paper-free medical congress at that time.
