A large regional health insurance provider's Business Transformation Office sought to implement agile and DevSecOps across its entire organization but needed support to assess its teams' baseline maturity levels. The challenges included overcoming cultural resistance, a Dev versus Ops mentality, and a focus on tools over process. To address this, the provider engaged AIM Consulting and its Cloud & Operations practice to speed up their DevSecOps transition.

AIM Consulting conducted over 60 interviews across four teams to establish a maturity baseline against 110 DevOps indicators. They created a maturity matrix and provided prioritized recommendations and specific backlog items for each group. The results gave the client an unbiased perspective on their readiness, a baseline score to track progress, and a streamlined, actionable plan to proactively move forward with their transformation.
