Choice Market, a 5,000 sq. ft. Denver retailer, needed a low-friction way to introduce autonomous shopping without forcing customers to abandon traditional checkout. They partnered with AiFi to pilot AiFi’s Hybrid Solution — computer-vision frictionless shopping that gives customers the option to shop autonomously or check out with a cashier.

AiFi’s Hybrid Solution was deployed and within two weeks Choice Market recorded 147 unique customers, about 20 frictionless transactions per day, and an average of four items per basket. Sixty percent of those customers returned at least once to shop frictionless (20% returned three or more times), and frictionless baskets were 20% larger than the company average, demonstrating AiFi’s measurable impact on adoption and basket size.
