Case Study: Forestry Conservation Organization achieves 98.5% accurate woodland carbon assessments with AiDASH

A AiDash Case Study

Preview of the Forestry Conservation Organization Case Study

Satellite measurements of woodland carbon stocks can achieve 98% accuracy

AiDash worked with a Forestry Conservation Organization in the United Kingdom to test whether satellite-based carbon measurements could match traditional ground surveys. The customer needed a way to quantify woodland carbon stock and annual carbon flux across forest areas while aligning with the UK Woodland Carbon Code and reducing the time, effort, and cost of manual assessments.

Using AiDash’s Intelligent Sustainability Management System (ISMS Carbon), the organization applied remote sensing, AI, and satellite imagery to assess up to 100% of forest stock, validate carbon values, and compare results against professional sample-based protocols. AiDash reported 98.5% congruence with manual measurements, scalable validation across 6,900 acres, and a lower-cost approach that supports annual monitoring and more efficient carbon inset and offset management.
