Sanoma improves financial close speed by 50% with Aico

Sanoma, Finland's largest media group and a European education publisher, faced a fragmented financial close process across its four SAP instances and other ERP systems. To improve closing accuracy, timeliness, and automation, they partnered with vendor Aico to implement its financial close automation platform.

Aico provided an end-to-end solution with real-time integration to Sanoma's multiple SAP systems, offering one point of access. The implementation included the Aico platform with its Closing Task Manager, Journal Entries, and Account Reconciliations solutions. Despite challenges from Covid-19, the project went live as planned with Aico's support, enabling Sanoma to complete its financial close up to 50% faster.
