ABB, a global technology leader in power grids, electrification, industrial automation and robotics, faced inefficient, paper‑based journal entry workflows that caused duplicate manual effort and required printing and archiving outside of SAP. To become paperless, eliminate duplicated work and get real‑time integration with its ERP, ABB selected Aico’s journal entry solution to streamline task assignment, approvals and auditing.

Aico implemented a SAP‑integrated journal entry system with smart task management, mandatory request checks at creation and automated recurring postings. The result was faster, more transparent period‑end closings—postings are validated in both the requests database and SAP, most journals are now processed paperlessly, duplicate work and manual checks have been reduced, and the project was delivered on schedule and on budget by Aico.
