Ford Otosan faced challenges with their automotive door panel racks. Ai Build utilized large format additive manufacturing controlled by their software to produce the door panel racks. This solution used softer, flexible materials that absorbed impact and conformed to the panel shape, eliminating part damage. The Ai Build software optimized the geometry and enabled continuous printing, which increased quality. The method also allowed for on-demand production and easy design modification, which significantly drove down production times and cost.
