Toronto East General Hospital needed technology to support its move to a comprehensive electronic patient health record system and to improve access to patient information across the hospital. Ahearn & Soper Inc. worked with the hospital on computer equipment and peripherals, including FLO mobile workstation carts, scanners, and printers.

Ahearn & Soper Inc. supplied 64 FLO mobile carts with Nano Phosphate Lithium Ion batteries, 100 Honeywell 4820 cordless scanners with bluetooth, and 8 Zebra HC-100 wristband printers. The project was awarded at an approximate contract price of $500,000, helping Toronto East General Hospital equip staff with tools to support bedside care and eHealth technology.
