Rocky Mountain Soap Company, a manufacturer and packer of upscale skin care products, natural soaps, and bath products in Canmore, Alberta, had been manually labeling its products and needed to improve labeling speed to keep up with growing demand. The company turned to Ahearn & Soper Inc. for an automated labeling solution for its round and oblong containers.

Ahearn & Soper Inc. supplied and helped install a Label-Aire Inline Series 6000 Oblong & Round Wrap Label Applicator at Rocky Mountain Soap’s plant, then assisted with start-up and staff training. The new system raised labeling speed for Body Butter packages to about 30 per minute, cut manual labeling costs, and gave the company the option to run 24/7 when needed.
