Loyalist Collegee - Customer Case Study

Loyalist College, a post-secondary institution in Belleville, Ontario with three locations in Belleville and a campus in Bancroft, needed an integrated access control system for its residence and campus buildings. In April 2012, the college issued an RFP to replace a series of lock systems that had no reporting or alarm capabilities and required full alarm monitoring and reporting.

Ahearn & Soper Inc., working with Lenel and Onity, supplied and installed a turnkey access control solution using Lenel OnGuard and ILS locks. The project was completed over Labour Day weekend in 2012, ahead of student move-in, and Loyalist said the new system’s capabilities far exceeded the old one.
