Storyblocks, a small Washington, D.C.–area software company serving over 100,000 customers and delivering more than one million video and audio downloads per month, was struggling with fragmented product planning. Development work lived in Google Sheets, PowerPoints, PivotalTracker and other tools, which led to lost projects, constant updates, weak prioritization and a lack of alignment between features and major company initiatives.
