Case Study: Lilliput Ag achieves production-cost visibility and better-informed crop management with Agworld

A Agworld Case Study

Preview of the Lilliput Ag Case Study

Understanding production costs to remain competitive

Lilliput Ag, a 2,400‑hectare farming and seed‑production operation near Rutherglen, VIC, needed a modern, cloud‑connected way to record production data and link it to finance systems so it could remain competitive and better understand cost of production. Co‑owners Andrew & Sue Russell looked to replace a 20‑year system with a mobile, cloud platform, and chose the Agworld platform — which their agronomist Andrew Bell (IK Caldwell) was already using.

By adopting Agworld in 2017 and collaborating on the same platform, Lilliput Ag now plans seasons, records observations and actuals, captures photos and spray records on mobile devices, and stores planned production data so financial figures can be directly derived. Agworld’s shared data and tools have improved efficiency and compliance across the operation, allowed hypothetical yield/profit modelling during the season, helped dial back inputs to lower costs, and enabled better‑informed crop management decisions.
