Case Study: Allan Brothers achieves audit-ready input tracking and safer orchard operations with Agworld

Managing a large fruit orchard operation in the Pacific Northwest

Allan Brothers, a fourth-generation fruit grower in Yakima Valley managing roughly 2,300 acres and nearly 700 individual orchard blocks, needed a sophisticated digital solution to accurately track inputs and operations across a large, distributed team. To solve this challenge they selected the Agworld platform, seeking in-field, mobile and offline capabilities to collect and centralize fertilizer, insecticide and herbicide records.

Implemented in 2015 with 16 core users, Agworld enabled Allan Brothers to record input data across seasons, build a reliable field history and run the audit reports required for global GAP, organic, food safety, food export and WSDA certifications. Agworld’s reporting, tank-mix calculations, REI/PHI mapping and searchable chemical library improved safety, communication and compliance, simplified audit preparation and provided a measurable, multi-season dataset covering all ~700 blocks.
