A Agworld Case Study
Lance Funk Farms, a 36,000‑acre operation in American Falls, ID with more than 110 full‑time and 150 seasonal staff, was struggling with traceability and coordination because legacy precision tools offered no record‑keeping and management relied on spreadsheets. To better manage 19 potato varieties and diverse crops across many employees and contractors, the farm adopted the Agworld platform and app to provide structured records and field‑level plans.
After implementing Agworld (working with agronomy partner Valley Agronomics), Lance Funk Farms used Agworld’s plans → recommendations → work orders → actuals workflow to give managers and operators one‑click access to field instructions, planting and application history, and collaborative data exchange. Agworld helped tailor inputs by field, eliminate mistakes, streamline operations and decision‑making, and—according to Director of Agriculture Todd Kirwan—deliver improved accuracy worth “in the hundreds of thousands of dollars,” while enabling faster, more profitable choices.
